Programme Structure

Fontys AMPA differs from other conservatories in that it offers almost twice as much training sessions in major subjects. The instrumental education consists of individual and group tuition.  As a result, the number of contact hours with your teacher is almost doubled; at the same time, you learn how to reflect on your own evolvement and that of others. This is reflected in the results. You evolve at a faster pace, you encourage each other through constructive criticism, and you are setting an example to each other. Apart from that, there is an extensive chamber music programme, you participate in projects, master classes; you audition inside and outside Fontys School of Fine and Performing Arts (FHK).
