Mechanical Engineering (Honours) at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman is one of the most versatile engineering disciplines. It not only applies principles of sciences and technology in mechanical engineering systems design but also encompasses key elements of materials, chemical, civil, electrical and even green engineering. Mechanical engineer involve in design, manufacture or operation management of every daily and industrial product or systems. Virtually every aspect of modern life is touched by mechanical engineering from smart phones to aircrafts and power plants.

- Admission to UTAR is on purely meritocratic basis. You are expected to satisfy the academic qualification and English Language requirement set by the University. Some programmes may have additional requirements such as the submission of a drawing portfolio, and an interview before the University decides on the admission.
