You can major in neuroscience through CNU’s bachelor’s degree program in interdisciplinary studies.
After Graduation
Neuroscience is an extremely versatile major that can lead to a successful career in a wide range of fields, including medicine, dentistry, pharmacology, biotechnology and psychology. Upon graduation, many neuroscience majors pursue advanced studies in graduate or professional school, while others choose to enter the workforce immediately, working in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.

- Virginia In-State Tuition Rates Eligibility You must complete all questions in the Residency and Parent/Legal Guardian Residency sections of the application to be eligible for in-state tuition.
- Applying to the President’s Leadership and/or Honors Program
- Select “Yes” for President’s Leadership Program and/or Honors program in the Academics section of the application.
- Complete the mandatory essay questions.
- An interview is required in order to be considered for these programs.
- Submit your most recent official high school transcript. Paper transcripts are accepted, but we encourage electronically submitted transcripts. (Please note: Applications submitted through the Coalition Application will be reviewed using the self-submitted transcript information)
- Have your SAT, ACT and/or CLT scores sent directly to Christopher Newport (unless you choose to apply test-optional).
