The English Education major at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, offered through the Department of English, is an undergraduate program that focuses on the knowledge, skills and dispositions needed to teach English to students, ages 10 through 21.


Successful candidates in the English Education program earn a bachelor's degree and a teaching license in English education at University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. In addition, English education majors may complete an optional concentration in broadfield language arts, resulting in a broadfield language arts license. The broadfield language arts license allows teachers to teach general-level speech and journalism courses.
