Overview
As a student in the Electrical Engineering - Computer Option program of Bradley University, you learn by doing. Many of your courses include lab time to design projects as you progress through the course sequence. In addition to foundational engineering principles coursework, you take a set of courses focused on digital systems. You also tailor the degree to your interests through a portion of the program set aside for electives in other engineering niches or academic fields. Your experience is capped by a yearlong senior project in which you may collaborate with business students.
Successful Outcomes
Bradley’s electrical engineering program with a computer option successfully prepares you to enter the workforce or continue your education. In recent years, almost all electrical engineering students found jobs or enrolled in graduate school within six months of graduation. They’re working at places such as Accenture, Boeing Co. Caterpillar Inc., Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman. Others are attending graduate school at University of Illinois, Carnegie Mellon, and University of Virginia.
