The Psychology 3+3 Pre-Counseling is an accelerated program that enables you to complete the undergraduate courses required to begin graduate study in 3 years. It prepares you to become a licensed Counselor, working in a variety of counseling settings, including community mental health centers, college counseling centers, and others. 


You will receive personal attention and gain insightful knowledge through activities both inside and outside of the classroom. Our goal is not only to prepare you for a future career, but also to enhance your personal, academic, and professional growth, so you can go on to promote the well-being of others.

Courses are blocked to ensure that you will receive preparation in all areas of Psychology, consistent with the biopsychosocial model used in counseling. After completing the core required courses, you will choose electives in each of the following areas:

Academic Requirements

You need the following GPA score:

Required score: 3

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

  • $30 application fee

International Students:

  • Complete the application for admission (NO FEE).
  • Submit official, English-translated copies of all secondary course work completed,
  • Submit a copy of your passport - copy of the picture page.
