About

Bellarmine University offers both the Bachelor of Music and the Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Music Performance. Voice majors take a one-hour private voice lesson each week plus a weekly master class during Vocal Area Assemblies. Upper division majors may also work weekly with a coach/accompanist in preparation for lessons and junior or senior recitals.

Overview

About the program

Both degrees focus on classical vocal training and offer instruction in singing other styles of vocal music as an integral part of the student’s training. In addition to solo recitals, voice majors are provided with a variety of singing opportunities including Choral Ensembles, Musical Theater Productions, Opera Scenes and opportunities to sing with various Jazz Combos.
