By collaborating with local schools, Eastern Nazarene is able to provide its students with hands-on experiences, so they enter their education careers fully prepared.

Helping children with special needs grow and learn is a worthwhile career, with Eastern Nazarene you’ll gain the skills and knowledge you need to best pursue that career. Designed to provide students with initial licensure for Pre K – 5 and 8 – 12 education, this program will prepare students to teach students with special needs.

With a wide range of courses from Classroom Management and Educational Psychology to Special Needs Curriculum and Methods and Student Teacher Seminar, students with this program complete the credits needed to fully prepare them to teach in a school setting.
