Overview

Committed to the mission of making our students global citizens and successful professionals, the Department of Foreign Languages and Cultures at the University of Evansville is pleased to offer a full Liberal Arts major and minor in French. Whether you decide to obtain a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in French (major) or just a minor, our goal in the French program is to help you acquire not only an advanced proficiency in French, but also sharpen your critical thinking, analytical and intercultural skills through the study of a variety of French and Francophone texts.
