- The majority of Studio Art students at Hendrix College taking courses in the department are not art majors but are interested in the study of art or taking courses in the art department to fulfill one of the College’s general education requirements and/or learning domains.

General requirements
- Complete the Common Application online for free.
- Submit an essay or personal statement in English. You will find instructions on the actual application form.
- Submit one official copy of transcripts from all secondary and post-secondary academic work translated into English. Transcripts must reflect the school’s seal and be signed by the appropriate school official. The transcripts should be uploaded via the Common Application or sent to Hendrix directly from the school in a sealed envelope.
- Non-native English speakers must submit an official score report.
- Submit a CSS Profile from the College Board.
- If you are a transfer student, download a Dean of Student Affairs Recommendation Get Adobe Reader form and have it completed and returned to Hendrix by the most recent college or university you have attended.
