Option IV is only available to students at the Cal State L.A. Downtown campus and other remote sites. Option IV allows students who have completed 60 semester units-including all lower-division general education requirements-to pursue a focused course of study that builds an interdisciplinary base of skills and knowledge highly desired by employers. With advisor approval, a maximum of 6 semester units of prior upper-division coursework may be counted toward the requirements listed below.
