Weber State is the founder and host of the National Undergraduate Literature Conference. Students can submit their work to be shared during the conference, and hear presentations from students and award-winning writers from across the country.

The English department has many active clubs and organizations, including Writers’ Ink, a creative writing club; Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society; and Metaphor, an undergraduate creative writing journal.
