The health sciences program may be pursued on a full-time basis and may be accelerated to a 3-year completion after the freshman year. It is designed to prepare you for professional or graduate study in physical therapy. Students may enter the program as freshmen or as transfer students on a space-available basis.

The programme

Experiential learning, small class sizes, and accessible and collaborative faculty provide a solid foundation for you to excel in the combined BS/DPT program.

Our curriculum combines a liberal arts education with a strong science core, giving you the necessary tools for success, whether your career goals are private practice, education, or research.

At the start of the program, you will complete pre-physical therapy seminar courses. This will help you establish strong mentoring relationships with faculty early on. Faculty members teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels to gain greater awareness of what student's needs, and to help identify ongoing needs of the program.

There are two options for completing the undergraduate curriculum. Complete it in a traditional eight semester (four year) schedule, or accelerate your degree in a fast-track program that consists of six academic semesters and two full-time summers.

This programme is accredited by CAPTE.
