Overview
A Geography major/minor at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh provides a window on a world made smaller by advances in telecommunications and transportation technologies, by the integrated operations of multinational corporations, by international terrorism and by environmental hazards that accompany global warming.
Studying Geography enables us to better understand the interaction between these distant forces and nearby places to best solve our world’s problems.
Key Features
- The skills and knowledge that students in these fields acquire are practical and valued, globally and locally.
- Our graduates are able to provide insights into the ecological and social complexity of the international conflicts or help a retailer decide the most cost-effective location for its next store.
