Overview
Your fourth year at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia is spent in clinical rotations at an affiliated hospital, where you will gain invaluable experience working in state-of-the-art facilities with the latest medical equipment and devices. You may also obtain a part-time job in some of these labs as early as your second year.
Medical laboratory scientists are in high demand, and government economists expect job growth for medical scientists, to be much faster than the average for all careers through 2020.
The Human Genome Project and research in bioterrorism also have increased demand for medical laboratory scientists. - Submission of SAT and/or ACT scores is optional for applicants to the fall 2022 spring 2023 academic year. If you choose to submit scores, we superscore, so we will use the exam you perform best on.
- Be sure to complete one of the Common Application essay prompts.
- Submit a letter of recommendation. Up to two additional letters may be submitted. You can use our recommendation form.
- Certification of Finances are required.
- TOEFL scores are required, unless you have been studying at an English-speaking institution for at least four years.
