Overview

This multidisciplinary approach provides a broader knowledge of each country’s culture and deepens your understanding of its language. Our dedicated Language Learning Center utilizes such learning programs as VoiceThread, a “virtual learning” tool that enables conversations from anywhere in the world to be shared and stored in one place. German and Russian program at Willamette University has a strong international exchange program with many opportunities on campus for cultural interaction, plus options to study abroad – in Berlin, Munich, Graz, Tübingen, Vienna and Simferopol.Many roads forwardGerman and Russian majors have many career options available, including government services, journalism, business, technology, translation, education, law and with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) operating worldwide. You can also go on to graduate school in German or Russian literature and studies.
