Overview

Students become eligible for BOC certification through completion of an Athletic Training degree program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). A degree in athletic training from Southeastern Louisiana University includes classroom study and clinical education in a variety of practice settings such as high schools, colleges/universities, hospitals, emergency rooms, physician offices and healthcare. Students pursuing a degree in athletic training are eligible to take the BOC exam in their last semester or after graduation.

General Requirements

To be eligible for full admission to Southeastern, international beginning freshmen students must meet ALL of the following criteria:Must have completed a recognized secondary school program with a minimum Grade Point Average of 2.35.Must have taken the TOEFL or IELTS *:
