General Requirements

  • Submit your online application as soon as possible to secure your spot. There’s no fee, and you should receive a response within two to four weeks of receiving your documents.
  • Schedule and take your ACT or SAT tests as soon as possible. Testing should be completed around one year before you start your first term at UM-Flint.
  • As soon as possible, request to have your official transcripts from all previous schools submitted to the UM-Flint Office of Undergraduate Admissions. 
  • Your application to the university is your scholarship application. Admitted students are considered for Merit Scholarships based on their ACT/SAT scores and GPA.
