As well as the major research project students are required to investigate and make presentations on an area unrelated to their research topic, to provide a broader understanding of important issues in contemporary biomedical research.

Career

Graduates of this Medical Research with Honours from University of Tasmania are considered research professionals and can expect to find employment in a range of areas including the pharmaceutical, pathology and biomedical industries, biotechnology companies, research institutes, hospitals and universities at both State and Commonwealth levels.
