At Belmont University, one of the College of Theology & Christian Ministry’s most popular majors, Religion and the Arts combines theological studies with an emphasis on the arts. Housed within a campus renowned for creativity across the board, this major gives students an opportunity to express themselves artistically within a faith-led dynamic.

This one-of-a-kind path of study requires students to pursue a minor in one of 11 arts-related programs: art history, dance, design communications, English literature, music (audition required), music business, painting, photography, studio art, theater or writing.

  • This Religion and the Arts program at Belmont University allows you to dive deeper into the history of religion and the arts and discover how faith and culture intersect, both historically and in modern times.
