This exciting and industry-relevant Business and Human Resource Management (Hons) degree at Abertay University combines business with human resource management, arming you with a broad knowledge base, sought-after employability skills, and flexibility in your choice of career.
You’ll learn from tutors with Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) membership and extensive human resource experience at a management level, as well as guest speakers from both the public and private sector – Adecco Recruitment Consultancy and Perth and Kinross Council, for example – designed to enable you to develop a specialist knowledge of human resource management, along with a broad range of core business skills.
This programme prepares you for a range of careers within all of the sectors - public, private and non-profit. Graduates grounded in human resources and business management offer a broad range of skills that can slot into many jobs.
You can go on to work as an HR officer or recruitment consultant, as well as in a myriad of management roles.

Minimum required score (Grade B2):
C1 Advanced is a Cambridge English Qualification. It reports on the Cambridge English Scale between 142 and 210. You will receive a separate score for each of the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and for Use of English. These five scores are averaged to give you an overall result for the exam. Universities and colleges may ask you to achieve a specific score, either overall or for a particular skill.
Note: degree programmes and applications may require a more specific minimum score for admission.
