  • The Social Studies Secondary Education program at Millersville University incorporates core social studies courses with diverse education requirements.
  • Core social studies courses explore the global environment, economics, government, history and more. In consultation with an academic adviser, you can select a concentration in one of the following disciplines: anthropology, economics, geography, government, history, psychology and sociology.
  • All MU education programs involve a Foundations Block which explores modern teaching and the psychology of teaching, Professional Blocks which focus on instructional technology and positive learning environments, and a semester of student teaching.
