Overview
Founded in the 1930's, Studio Art at Catholic University of America is a community of creative and critically engaged visual artists and designers. Our work lies at the intersection of making, seeing, and questioning.
Students have the opportunity to work intensively across a broad range of studio practices, within a R2 research university. Studio Art majors study with 21st century approaches to sculpture, photography, painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, animation, and graphic design, housed within three respective concentrations.
