Milan offers you the opportunity to explore influential brands including Alfa Romeo, Armani and Prada and discover their strategies for success. Having global exposure will help you stand out in the job market, no matter whether you plan on having an international career or not. For this vital reason, the trip is included in the cost of your fees.

Make It real: learn from people who have been there and done it. Leading international brands will deliver inspiring lectures and give you real insight into how to succeed in global business. Guests have included Superdry, whose marketing campaigns have seen the brand sell their products to over 100 countries worldwide. Real-world application is embedded throughout your learning and you will work on live marketing challenges with UK and international brands such as Disney, IMI and CapGemini.

Make It happen: grow into a career-ready graduate. Work placement opportunities give you for confidence to put your learning into practice and gain essential contacts. Students have worked for companies such as Warner Bros and BMW. You will also shadow an entrepreneur, work with a corporate firm and gain experience as a shadow consultant at the Growth Hub, our business centre at Oxstalls Campus. All of this is designed to give you the skills and the CV to pursue your chosen career. Graduates have gone on to work all across the business spectrum; from starting their own businesses to working internationally for companies such as IBM.

Programme Structure

As well as a mix of lectures, seminars, group work and presentations, you'll work on live marketing challenges, connecting products, services and brands to customers. Real world case studies offer you the opportunity to build your expertise while simulations working on live marketing campaigns with UK and international brands give you practical experience. You will have opportunities to work with leading businesses abroad as part of your international trip and be able to complete a work placement as part of your degree. This will prepare you to graduate career-ready.
