About the Program

Combining men’s studies, women’s studies, and queer studies, the Women and Gender Studies program of Rutgers University offers students a special focus on diverse human experiences across many fields of study, including anthropology, childhood studies, criminal justice, English, fine arts, foreign languages, health sciences, history, philosophy, psychology, religion, social work, and sociology. Gender studies is about everyone and relevant to all academic disciplines and fields of work.
