Overview

A Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) is a 3 year program that combines crucial theory and practical knowledge to students who aim to become Early Childhood Education teachers. It is fast becoming the benchmark qualification required by employers in the early childhood sector.
Students are required to have completed their high school education to enroll into this program. Students who have completed the Certificate in Early Childhood Teaching (Level 6) (teaching stream) will go into their final year of the Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) after completing the required transition papers.
Graduates are eligible to apply for NZ Teacher Registration with the Education Council of Aotearoa New Zealand.
