Technical Theatre and Production (3rd Year Entry) degree offered at the University of the West of Scotland will help you identify and refine your specialist strands within the subject.This is the only undergraduate honours course currently available in Scotland offering a comprehensive range of subjects in Technical Theatre.You will be introduced to academic research skills for practice-led and practice-based research. And you will be critically engaged with interdisciplinary concepts around stagecraft, scenography and education.

The course invites the students to a range of masterclasses led by leading industry professionals and scholars, as well as 'Theatre Lab', weekly collaborative sessions where students stage a new performance every week at the Gaiety Theatre.


The programme aims to create career opportunities in theatre, film, television, visual art and education. It will also prepare students to pursue avenues of postgraduate study.
