Overview

The Dual Degree with the National University of Singapore at Sciences Po allows students to obtain, in only four years:

  • a Bachelor of Arts/Social Sciences (Honours), conferred by NUS, Singapore, and
  • a Bachelor of Arts, conferred by Sciences Po, France.
  • This partnership capitalises on the complementary yet distinct strengths of the two universities involved:

    • During the first two years, students on the DDP will complete the full Sciences Po curriculum, one that provides a broad-based, liberal, and multidisciplinary education in the arts and social sciences. Sciences Po has been educating decision-makers in the public and private sectors for the past 140 years, and is France’s leading university in the social sciences.

    • By proceeding to NUS for their third and fourth years, these students will then obtain a rigorous specialisation by choosing one of four majors in NUS’ Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. Many of these majors are ranked among the top in the world.

    • The students can also extend their multi- and interdisciplinary study (to areas like Sciences and Technologies) by taking classes in NUS’ University Scholars Programme, where they will also synthesise and reflect on their overall education, not just in the classroom, but also through residential learning.

    Graduates of the DDP will not only have a broad-based grounding in the arts and social sciences, but also a strong major and specialisation, plus analytical and thinking skills that traverse disciplines. They will also have knowledge of and access to opportunities in both Asia and Europe, as well as many avenues for postgraduate study at Sciences Po and elsewhere.

    All DDP students will begin their study by spending two years at Sciences Po. They can select *one of Science Po’s three regional campuses. Each of these regional campuses is small, intimate, and very international, and their classes are largely taught in English. The programme on each campus also focuses on a specific geopolitical region. Students can choose between:

    • Le Havre campus with its Euro-Asian programme;
    • Menton campus with its Middle-Eastern and Mediterranean programme; or
    • Reims campus with its Euro-American programme
