Overview

The International Foundation Year (Science) from Keele University  is a one year foundation course for international students wishing to study a Science degree course. Those wishing to study Business, Economics, Computing, or Social Studies and Humanities should consider the International Foundation Years run by the Keele International Study Centre.

You are guaranteed a place on a Keele Science honours degree subject to completing the International Foundation Year within certain threshold marks and obtaining a new visa. A visa will be granted for the duration of the one year International Foundation Year and a second visa will then need to be obtained for the 3-year degree stage. Hence, the course is classed as a 1-year + 3-year (or 4-year) programme. Alternatively, students may choose to continue their studies at another university, by applying through UCAS.

Overview

You will take a combination of modules to a total of 120 credits: core modules, those related to your intended degree programmes after your Foundation Year and some free choice. Modules are worth 10, 15 or 20 credits.
