Through a liberal arts education that combines academic skills courses with traditional fields of study as well as interdisciplinary perspectives, the Global and Interdisciplinary Studies curriculum at the Hosei University seeks to cultivate a truly global perspective through the development of creative problem solving skills, the growth of academic knowledge, and the encouragement of interpersonal and intercultural communication. 

The curriculum offers a framework of classes from 100 level and to 400-level seminars that also allows the freedom and flexibility for students to design their own course of study.

  • Certification of high school graduation and official transcripts.
  • Certified results of a university entrance qualification test, if the student completed his/her secondary education based on a non-Japanese curriculum: IB (Worldwide), SAT or ACT (USA), GCE A-level (UK), HSC (NSW, Australia), NCEA Level 3 (NZ), etc. Graduates from high schools in countries other than the UK, Canada, Australia, NZ, Germany and France are required to submit IB or SAT/ACT results.
