Why to study

Key areas include First Nations Literature, Canadian Literature, Comparative Literature, Women's Literature, Feminist Criticism and Theory, literature and media technology, and the relationship between literature and other disciplines. Creative writing and other kinds of writing courses are also available. 

The English program at the University of Northern British Columbia , encourages interdisciplinarity between literature, cultural studies, and science or technology.
