The Diploma of Information Technology at Macquarie University  introduces you to the fundamental concepts of information technology, including programming, computer science, business systems, database design and digital media. 


 This diploma is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree. You will not add any extra time to your degree as you will receive credit for all the units you complete in your diploma. If you successfully complete this diploma and meet the entry requirements you can progress directly into the second year of the following degrees: Bachelor of Business Analytics; Bachelor of Cyber Security; Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) with a Specialisation in Software Engineering; Bachelor of Game Design and Development; Bachelor of Information Technology.
