Overview
Computer Science from The College of New Jersey strives to educate and assist each student personally through the undergraduate years, by providing a comprehensive learning environment and developing a community of learners.
The Department provides an extensive curriculum with courses being taught by our faculty members in small classes.
Learning Outcomes
The practical experience is an essential component of the Computer Science Program. All majors participate in at least one of the capstone experiences comprising of one semester of mentored research with a selected faculty member, or an academically approved internship. This provides students with the opportunity to work one-on-one with a faculty member on a research problem within the realm of their expertise or gain experience in solving real-world problems in an industry environment.
The Department of Computer Science offers the B.S. degree in Computer Science and the Seven Year B.S./M.D. degree. The Department also offers a minor in Computer Science, a minor in Computer Science Education, and Computer Science Honors.Programme Structure
