About

Graduates succeed in airline, corporate, commercial, military, and helicopter operation careers. Both the Fixed Wing and Rotary Wing options for the Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Science degrees are housed in the Department of Aeronautical Science in the College of Aviation.

Embry-Riddle Prescott is one of the very few facilities in the world offering career opportunities for both fixed-wing and helicopter pilots. Our fleet includes Diamond DA42s, Cessna 172s, Piper Arrows, and a Super Decathlon for upset training as well as Robinson helicopters, R-22 and R-44 models, for those who aspire to command rotary-wing aircraft. You can also tailor your degree program to specific career goals by completing one of two main specialties:

  • Professional Pilot – Fixed Wing Specialty: for students who are interested in careers as airline, corporate or military pilots.
