Overview

The Fashion Graphics (Hons) programme at Solent University encourages you to explore a range of graphic design techniques and fashion innovations. Recent graduates have gone on to amazing careers working for luxury designers such as Kurt Geiger, Ted Baker, Olivia Burton and Sophia Webster, and popular fashion brands such as Motel Rocks, Topshop and Superdry.

Throughout the course you will have access to a range of high specification facilities, such as a Mimaki digital fabric printer for print and surface design projects. You will also have free access to the Media Academy, including Mac suites with the latest Adobe Creative software, photographic studios and large-format printers, plus a wide range of digital equipment ,from the latest cameras to outside lighting kits, to make your portfolio industry-standard.

General Requirements

  • 72 - 96 UCAS points or equivalent 
  • A minimum of two completed A-levels, a BTEC Extended Diploma at MMP or BTEC Diploma at DM or equivalent qualification, or a combination of qualifications which comply with the minimum entry requirement of 72 UCAS points.
  • All applicants are required to submit an electronic portfolio for consideration.
  • Direct entry into years two or three may be considered for this course.
  • Applicants over the age of 21 may be considered based on relevant experience, without having the required tariff points.
  • Alternative entry to this course is available through the Design Foundation Year.
