
Overview
The BA in English Language and Creative Writing (Hons) at University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) will help you to enhance your skills as a creative writer and gain experience of writing in a wide range of different styles and genres.
You’ll develop the skills and techniques you need to create new works in everything from science fiction and fantasy to fairy tales, horror, crime, and fiction for children and young adults. Along the way you’ll produce a variety of short stories, poetry, play scripts and more.

- Required subjects. Where the course (major) has a named class an AP or SAT Subject Test is required. Dual/Concurrent Enrolment and classes from an associate degree can be considered on a case by case basis. Where the named class is ‘any science’ a high score on the Science component of the ACT can be considered on a case by case basis.
