About

Our students prepare for careers in the 21st century world of media through invaluable coursework and hands-on experience that blends media theory and history, creative and critical production, public relations and advertising, journalism and multimedia storytelling and other fields.

Our students:

  • Produce videos and podcasts with TU’s student-run multimedia lab, TUTV
  • Write and edit for the student-run newspaper, The Collegian

English Language Requirements

You only need to take one of these language tests:

    The TOEFL®PBT is administered in a paper format and measures your ability to use and understand English in a classroom setting at the college or university level.     The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00. Academic Requirements

Your application will not be considered complete until all the following items have been received:

  • A completed Graduate School application (paper or online) with a Statement of Purpose.
  • Three letters of recommendation from individuals who can comment on your academic potential.
  • Official transcripts from all universities attended
  • Official GRE General Test results sent directly from Educational Testing Services (ETS)
  • $55 application fee
  • International students who studied at a university outside of the U.S. should submit official TOEFL or IELTS results
