Overview
This interdisciplinary focus of the BA in American Studies at Pace University encourages critical and creative thinking aimed at drawing connections between diverse fields of study and expertise. Students develop concrete skills in research, organization, written and oral communication, and critical thinking skills that are an asset in careers such as journalism, publishing, teaching, arts management, law, social work, government, and corporate positions.
Students choose from among five tracks to engage scholarly interests and prepare for a career in many areas. The New York, Law, American Arts, and Civic Engagement tracks are designed to appeal to your specific interests or career aspirations.
