Students enrolled in this program are taught Human Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, General physics & electronics, Atomic & nuclear physics, Mathematics, Pathology, Community medicine, Radio diagnosis, Radiation Oncology and Radiation Physics.
As medical radiologic technology students are an integral part of radiation imaging and radiation therapy departments, they are high in demand across hospitals in India and abroad. The students of the Medical Radiologic Technology program from Amrita University are placed in various hospitals in, UK, Canada, and Middle East. There is also ample scope for these students to pursue higher studies and do research in AIMS.

- Dedicated 4 D CT Simulator (GE Optima 580 WRT) for 3d planning
- Dedicated Conventional Simulator (Nucletron Simulux Evolution) for 2d Planning
- Brachy Therapy unit (Nucletron Micro Selectron)
- Treatment Planning Systems (Oncentra, Xio, Monaco, Accuray Multiplan)
- Dedicated Mould Room with Styrofoam Cutter for Block preparation.
