The (Hons) Business Management (Marketing) with Foundation Year programme from The University of Law Business School focuses on making you career-ready, offering an excellent grounding in key areas. 

You will develop skills in research, presentation, critical analysis, problem solving, team building, and entrepreneurship. Upon completion of the course you will have gained the essential capabilities needed to be effective within the field of marketing management.

This course is available to study at our London Bloomsbury campus.                                    

This course has a real world focus with learning taking place both in and outside the classroom environment. Learning will be supported by online resources, including the Financial Times, case studies, simulations, learning videos, reading materials, online testing and feedback.

Successful completion of the programme will earn you a Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), helping you stand out in the job market and get noticed by employers. In addition you'll receive an exemption from the Chartered Institute of Marketing for the Level 4 Marketing module within the Certificate in Professional Marketing.

Programme Structure

The foundation year is an integral part of the undergraduate business programme. It will provide you with the necessary study skills and knowledge to prepare you for undergraduate study and help you gain a better understanding of the key aspects of business and marketing management. After the successful completion of the foundation year, year 1 will cover the main areas of business management. Years 2 and 3 will explore these themes in more detail along with elective options in marketing.

Academic Requirements

  •  32 UCAS points from the equivalent of one A Level or 40 UCAS points from the equivalent of two A Levels
  • 5 GCSEs at A-C (9-4) including English, and Grade D (4) or above in Maths or equivalent qualifications
  • An English language level equivalent to IELTS 5.5 or above, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component
