About

Given our location in the thriving business district in downtown Portland, it should come as no surprise that a significant part of our program involves connecting to business and to the Portland human resource community. HRMA’s numerous regional and national awards consistently highlight the quality of our students, faculty, and curriculum and show employers and the business community how successful the program and its students are.

Research conducted by the Society for Human Resource Management indicates that the three biggest challenges facing human resource (HR) executives over the next 10 years are retaining and rewarding the best employees (59% of HR professionals note this), developing the next generation of corporate leaders (52%), and creating a corporate culture that attracts the best employees to organizations (36%).
