The main campus spans 56 acres at the base of Mount Sentinel along the Clark Fork River and includes the park-like Oval at the center of campus, more than 60 architecturally unique buildings and a 25,200-seat football stadium. UM's 180-acre South Campus offers student housing, a golf course, soccer fields and an outdoor track facility. Missoula College occupies two sites in central and west Missoula.

Academic Requirements

  • Conditional Admission is for students who want to enroll in a UM bachelor degree program but do not meet the minimum requirement for Full Admission or UP Admissions or do not have an English language test score. UM offers intensive academic English training for conditionally admitted students at our English Language Institute (ELI). Once the student receives the required English language proficiency score they can begin their undergraduate degree studies in the next term;
  • A non-refundable US $30 application fee. The fee must be in U.S. currency. Checks and/or money orders should be made payable to University of Montana;
  • Freshman students must have the equivalent of a 2.5 GPA or
  • Submit a copy of the information page in your valid passport.
