Overview

Faculty work individually with students from the time they enter Clarkson to prepare them for careers in a world economy that demands creativity in analyzing problems, expertise in technology, and an understanding of diverse perspectives. History majors have the opportunity to develop innovative areas of expertise generally unavailable at liberal arts colleges, while still embracing the discipline and the creativity afforded in top liberal arts institutions.

Concentrations in Science, Technology, and Society and War Studies build bridges between past and present, and the major also offers more traditional concentrations in American and European history.
