Overview
Science preprofessional, biological sciences, and arts and letters preprofessional are the most prevalent majors among those applying to advanced study in the health professions. Students from every major in the Colleges of Science, Arts and Letters, and Engineering apply to health professions schools. Recently a few students from the College of Business have decided to pursue medicine, as well, and the office provides advice and application support.
The Center, located in the Jordan Hall of Science, maintains a resource room with information about professional schools, including admissions requirements, and holds a series of training meetings to help Preprofessional Studies undergraduates navigate the process of applying to medical, dental, and other schools.
