    The TOEFL®PBT is administered in a paper format and measures your ability to use and understand English in a classroom setting at the college or university level. It accurately measures how well you can listen, read and write in English while performing academic tasks.

General Requirements

  • High school pre-requisites for the faculty/program to which they are applying,
    • English language requirements if applicable,
    • The strength of mandatory supplemental information (profile, audition, portfolio, personal statement etc.),
    • Completion of the entire Diploma including the Theory of Knowledge and Extended Essay
    • Passes in a minimum of 6 subjects of which 3 must be at the Higher Level
    • A minimum grade total of 28 including points awarded for the Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge
    • No mark less than 4 on any individual course
    • Prerequisites for your program as specified by Western
