Why Study Forensic Science at UND?
Forensic science is a fast-growing field that offers a variety of career opportunities. In the forensic science program at UND, you'll study everything from biology and chemistry to forensic anthropology and criminal procedures.
An interdisciplinary program, the B.S. draws on resources from departments including anthropology, biology, chemistry, criminal justice, physics and psychology. You can choose from two tracks:
- The Evidence Technician track prepares you to work as a crime scene technician or another career that involves limited laboratory analysis.
- The Evidence Analyst track prepares you to perform scientific tests of evidence in a crime lab.
Whichever track you choose, you'll get experience in a forensic laboratory, especially in security, chain of custody and forensic report writing.
