Overview
We partner with GM on an annual case competition that draws teams from around the world to showcase their talents to some of the auto industry's top firms. We developed the Global Automotive Purchasing Supply Chain Network and executive education programs in tandem with AIAG. And our deep-rooted network includes many other multinational entities that provide students with robust internship and study abroad opportunities.
Our Business Administration - Global Supply Chain Management program at Wayne State University focuses on global business and prepares students for success. The program has eight full-time SCM faculty positions, including two faculty members that we have recently hired, and a number of auto industry adjunct faculty who bring many years of experience to the classroom.
Global supply chain management careers
Students graduating with a major in global supply chain management can expect employment opportunities to grow at a rate faster than average for all occupations. This is due to the profession's pivotal role in the global economy. Individuals who take advantage of internships prior to graduation will have the greatest employment prospects.
