The curriculum is based on the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 29 September 2011 on the standards of education for majors: veterinary and architecture. This Regulation implements the provisions of the Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications.
The mission of the University and the Faculty comprises among others, a declaration that “our mission is to constantly deepen and transfer modern knowledge and skills necessary to pursue successfully the profession of doctor of veterinary.
The University of Environmental and Life Sciences prepares future social elites - sapient people with wide horizons, aware of their believes.” The profession of a doctor of veterinary medicine is a profession of public trust which requires the obedience of high ethical standards.
Practical skills can be obtained through domestic specialisations being part of postgraduate studies for doctors of veterinary medicine, through practicing in laboratories and animal health clinics, most of all in clinics of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine or through private practice.
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences offers a 5.5 year (11 semesters) degree program of Veterinary Medicine. Candidates for these studies have to possess a high level of knowledge on the subjects of: Chemistry, Biology and English. This needs to be proofed by certificate or school reports. All of these documents should be original or certified by the eligible institution.

C1 Advanced is a Cambridge English Qualification. It reports on the Cambridge English Scale between 142 and 210. You will receive a separate score for each of the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and for Use of English. These five scores are averaged to give you an overall result for the exam. Universities and colleges may ask you to achieve a specific score, either overall or for a particular skill.
