Careers
By the time of degree completion students will be uniquely poised to enter the workforce in the growing field of sustainable food systems or pursue management (through governmental and non-governmental agencies) and graduate education/research opportunities addressing the challenges of securing access to safe and affordable food for a growing population. Our graduates may work in small or large scale food production and harvesting from the land or the sea, finding innovative, healthy and safe ways to distribute and market food, or developing and enforcing policies that ensure food security and safety.

- Official SAT or ACT scores (MUST be sent electronically by the testing services: the URI ID code is 3919 for SAT and 3818 for ACT)

- At least one letter of recommendation (please limit to two). If your school counselor writes your letter of recommendation (which is our preference), there is no need to submit a teacher evaluation/recommendation. Pharmacy applicants are required to provide two letters of recommendation
- Admitted students are required to submit a final high school transcript showing proof of graduation by July 15.
