In this program, students participate in experiences in school settings beginning in their freshman year. These field experiences are designed to develop enduring understandings, knowledge, and skills for middle school teaching and rigorously prepare students for the one-year internship, the capstone experience of the program. As a part of this program, students have extensive opportunities to work with young adolescents through a wide range of learning experiences in school and community settings.

  • Submit one letter of recommendation from a teacher or counselor.
  • Upon admission, pay your enrollment deposit by May 1 to reserve a place in the class.
  • Arrange to have your SAT or ACT scores sent to us.
  • If applicable, submit official information about transfer credit or AP/IB credit to Loyola electronically
